Nice, thanks for the pictures. I always greatly enjoy seeing other folks animals.
Also, a minor photo tip when using a flash: The glass/plastic can act like a partial mirror. So if you flash head-on, some of the light comes right back to the camera like a bad mirror. This can be mostly avoided by shooting at a slight angle, 5 - 10 degrees to the left or right usually takes care of it. Give it a shot!
The "glare" was very minor in these anyway, but it made me think of a tip someone taught me.
